As we approach the New Year it’s important that we reflect on the things that have taken place and prepare for the things to come.
I absolutely love the positive energy that is always displayed during this time of the year. Everyone is looking forward to changing for the better. We all start out on the good foot by getting organized and setting goals. So many things come to mind when you begin to discuss New Year resolutions. For some it may be getting in shape, going back to school, starting/growing a business, and so on. Unfortunately, sometimes during the course of the year however, many of us lose our drive and determination.
As for me, this year has been chock full of highs and lows in both my personal and professional life, some of which I addressed here on the blog. This year was more of an emotional roller coaster than anything but through it all, I am thankful that the good outweighed the bad and pleased with the level of growth I’ve experienced from it all. In the new year, I simply look forward to continuing the journey of truly coming into my own. Funny how that one sentence encompasses so much. Much more than I could ever share in this one post so you’ll have to stay tuned which also brings me to my next reflection.
Here, I am able to unashamedly share my thoughts and I am ever so grateful for the readers of this blog. I can’t tell you how much I appreciate each of your comments, emails, follows, likes and shares. When I first started blogging, I never imagined that it would become what it has today. I sincerely hope that each of you accomplish what you set out to achieve in the coming year and I’d like to encourage you not to lose sight of your goals. Don’t let the everyday hustle and bustle of life deter you from maintaining your ambition for the New Year.
