Back To Work She Goes…

9to5clockAfter posting about my latest project and faux pas mentor, I literally had a job the very next day.

As a freelancer, it’s been a year since I’ve been on anybody’s clock but my own so returning to the 9 to 5 scene will definitely be an adjustment. However, I find great solace in the fact that at least this time I’m doing something I actually want to do. I’ve always been opposed to working a job just to work a job and be miserable because there’s so much more to life than that. It’s nice to be able to keep such a promise to myself and I’m excited to see where things go from here.

This is my last full week of freedom so I’m off to enjoy it!

  1. Given our shared views about Corporate America as well as our respective crafts, I do want to congratulate you for finding something that you can put your all into and be proud of at the end of the day.

I wish you all the best in this endeavor and definitely look forward to reading more of your work, Artesia. You’ve been- and hopefully will continue to be – an inspiration when it comes to writing. You’ve given me more impetus and encouragement than what you might think.
