I was more than determined to see Best Man Holiday during opening weekend and am so thankful that my schedule saw fit to allow it. In all my high hopes of seeing this film, I will also admit that I was hoping it did not let me down.
THAT IT MOST CERTAINLY DID NOT…
I laughed. I related. I lusted. I cried. I laughed some more.
The director couldn’t have done a better job of tying the first Best Man to this one and really allowed us to see how the characters had developed during the fourteen year lapse. In an effort not to give away the details to those who may have not already seen it, I will just say that in my book, it is definitely a must see film of the year and be prepared to have your emotional side triggered.
I still can’t stop thinking about how good this movie was, am even contemplating seeing it again and will definitely make it a part of my in-home collection once released.
