This casual yet sophisticated spot was our first stop for dinner. Their menu was noted to provide a selection of American comfort food with a southern flair. However, after not seeing anything that caught my eye for the evening, I opted for a small Caesar Salad along with the Chef’s Special; a vegetable pasta with asparagus and added some chicken for protein.
The presentation was great, which is always key in my book. I had to add some additional pepper to season it to my taste but overall it was a very good dish. I especially appreciated the fact that since I’m a pasta lover and was sure to eat it all, it didn’t leave me feeling overly stuffed upon completion.
The staff was friendly, service was prompt and the prices were not too bad seeing as how I paid less for a dinner for two there than most other places.
After dinner, we decided to go up to the Sky Lounge for a few cocktails…
This was my favorite part of our experience at The Glenn Hotel. The ambiance gave off a very sexy vibe, the view of Downtown Atlanta was amazing, drinks were good and the DJ played something for everyone with a good mix of old and new school music.
All and all, I would recommend both the restaurant and lounge to anyone visiting the area!
